Assists
A pass that sets up a goal. The last two players to touch the puck before the goal is scored receive assists.

Primary Assist
The primary assist is awarded to the player who makes the final pass directly leading to the goal.

Secondary Assist
The secondary assist is given to the player who made the pass to the player who then made the final pass (the primary assist) before the goal was scored.

Extended Battles for the puck. Usually around the boards, usually involving more than 2 skaters.

Odd Man Rushes
Odd man rushes.
An odd man rush occurs when the attacking team outnumbers the defending players as they move into the offensive zone (2-on-1, 3-on-1. 2-on-0, etc.)

This only counts puck recoveries that occur after the player’s own team was in possession, for example a recovery after a shot or a recovery after a dump in.

Rebound Shots.
Rebound shots are shot attempts taken by a player after the goaltender makes an initial save on another shot (possibly but not necessarily by the same player) with the puck staying in play after the save, being immediately recovered by the player who then takes a rebound shot.

Rush Shots Attempts.
Rush shot attempts are shots taken by a player during a fast break or transition play as the team moves quickly from their own zone into the offensive zone. These attempts occur during fast-paced, unstructured play rather than set plays or structured offensive zones.

Rush Shot Assists.
Rush shot assists are credited to the player who makes a pass that directly leads to a shot attempt during a fast break or transition play. These assists occur as the team moves quickly from their own zone into the offensive zone.
Rush xG
Rush XG Contribution.
Rush xG contribution measures a player’s involvement in generating expected goals (xG) during fast break or transition plays. It includes both the quality of shots they take and assists they provide during these rapid offensive situations.
