How do I activate and use Live Recorder?

How to play the next clip automatically?
You can make the NextGen editor play the next clip automatically or loop it in the Clips Library or Playlist panel.
To do that find the two cycling arrows button on the bottom left and click it.
First click will enable AutoNext feature: the clips will be auto-played one after the other.
Click the button again to enable RepeatOne feature: now the current clip will loop.
Click the button third time to disable AutoNext and RepeatOne: now the current clip will be played once and then stop.
Does SportContract send stats reports after each game?
No, SportContract does not send reports after each game. It is also not planned to do this. SportContract’s goal is to make all needed data available first on the Web version and later on the mobile app.
Is it possible to download videos/games from the platform?
Yes, you can download full game videos, single clips or playlists using the NextGen Editor.
To download a full game video using Clip Finder:
- Go to Clip Finder
- Search for a team / player and find the game you need
- Click the

How to transcode videos using Handbrake?
If the video file is corrupted please download Handbrake
and transcode the video.
Please use the default Handbrake encode settings. You just need to drag & drop the video into the tool and click Start
.
Where do I find the game advanced analytics information?
On the game page click the Advanced Analytics
under the score.
You can also access advanced analytics of the game within the NextGen Editor.
To do that open a game in Clips Library and press Search arena events
under the game.
How do I see the time on ice for all the players on the mobile app after a game?
This is not possible at the moment. You can see all the time on ice only on the Web version.
How to go back to the team page on mobile after clicking on a player?
You can click on the team on top of the player page.
If a player plays for multiple teams and the team does not show up, please use the following workaround:
- Click on the search icon and select the previously selected team to go back to the player’s team page
How to add videos to your skills in scouting report?
You will need to create a playlist with related clips before you can attach it to the skill element of your scouting report.
After that click the +
icon next to the skill in the scouting report to attach a playlist.
How to create a scouting template?
To create a scouting template you need to have admin access rights.
- Go to SportContract main menu on the top right
- Click
Admin
and enter your credentials - Go to
Templates
and press theNew Template
button
How to upload a game video?
You can upload game videos directly to our system. For detailed instructions please refer to our Video Upload Manual .
Alternatively you can send us the link to the game on any cloud, FTP server, or wherever you have it so that you can share it with us.
Please note that the video size should be around 10-12GB max for the complete game. If the files exceed this size, you should compress them before uploading. We recommend using “Handbrake” for compressing your files.
How to watch player shifts?
Go to Clip Finder and follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Player tab and search for a player
- Expand games and click the “Shifts” button
- Click the “Open in Clip Library” button
Can I scale the SportContract user interface, make it bigger or smaller?
In order to scale the UI please use the browser’s zoom in/out functionality.
Go to browser’s menu, find Zoom option and click +
to zoom in and click -
to zoom out.
Is it possible to jump forward frame by frame within one clip instead of seconds when using the forward / backward arrow keys?
Yes, you can go back and forth frame by frame within one clip using the ↑
Up / ↓
Down arrow keys.
You can customize the number of frames to move using the gear icon on the bottom left bar.
To see the list of available hotkeys click the Hotkeys icon on the top right of the video editor.
Can I know which players from our team are on the ice when the opponents get chances?
Yes, you can load the clip in the Clips Library and then hover the i
icon on the clip to see the players on the ice from both teams when that event happened.
How to share a playlist with my players within the organization?
We recommend sharing a playlist directly with players instead of using a public link. Please check the attached screenshot to see how to share a playlist directly with a player.
- Open your playlist and press the
Share
button. - Press the
Invite
button - Search by player name in the share dialog
- Select a player from the list and press the
Invite
button
The player will receive an email with a link to open the playlist in the SportContract mobile app. The player will also see which playlists they have been shared with in the Shared With Me
tab inside the SportContract Mobile app.

How to generate clips using timestamps text?
To generate clips using text and timestamps click the three dots icon ( …
) on the bottom right and choose Generate clips
.
Please note that you can create clips this way only if a game already has a game clock tagged by our team.
How can users add their phone numbers?
To add a phone number to your profile please follow these steps:
- Log in to your account
- Go to
My Profile
in the main menu on the top right - Click
Edit Profile
on the top right - Click
+ Add Phone
- Enter your phone number
- Click
Save Changes
